'Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny' trailer: Indy's not ready to retire just yet
The trailer for Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny may open with a retirement
The trailer for Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny may open with a retirement party for its titular hero (played by Harrison Ford), but the action-packed sneak peek that follows shows that Indy isn't done with adventuring just yet.
Indiana reunites with his goddaughter Helena (Phoebe Waller-Bridge), who's on the hunt for a mysterious artifact her father (Toby Jones) and Indy sought long ago. The artifact in question is a dial that can change history, so naturally, some villains — Nazis played by Mads Mikkelsen and Boyd Holbrook — are after it as well.
This latest trailer teases some major action sequences, including a daring plane escape, Indiana Jones racing a subway train on horseback, and a whole lot of old-fashioned whip cracking. Perhaps most interesting are the quick glances we get at the film's flashback scenes, in which see a young Indiana Jones (a digitally de-aged Ford) going head to head with Nazis years ago.
Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny hits theaters June 30.
