A tractor-trailer caught fire and emergency crews shut down the northbound 399 Interstate 75 exit ramp Tuesday.

According to an Alachua Police Department (APD) social media post, emergency crews responded to the fire at 1:20 p.m.

The fire was extinguished and no one was injured in the blaze, but the exit ramp was blocked until 2:08 p.m.
