The Christian Church of Paden City will host its third annual VBS Day Camp June

The Christian Church of Paden City will host its third annual VBS Day Camp June 14 ­ 16 at 105 E. Main Street, Paden City, WV

The theme this year is Make Waves and activities will include balloon animals, face painting, a magic show, blow up rides and new this year will be Touch A Truck. We have a race car, covered wagon, police car, tractor & trailer, mini back hoe, a side by side, fire truck, motorcycle with a sidecar, dump truck, skid steer and a tow truck that will be parked in our parking lot and the kids can see them up close. Parents are welcome to come take pictures of their child as they Touch A Truck on Wednesday June 14 at 3 until 3:45.

They will have classes Wednesday, Thursday and Friday about fun encounters with Jesus and a craft time. We are extremely excited to have Marvin Whiteman with us to lead the Praise and Worship times.

Registration is Wednesday at 9 am. Thursday and Friday we start at 9:30 am and end around 4 pm each day. Lunch will be served each day by the ladies of Buck Run Christian Church and there will be snacks throughout the day.

To finish off the VBS Day Camp on Sunday evening, June 18, from 5:30 to 7:30 we will be hosting a Swim Party at the Paden City pool, weather permitting. We invite campers to come join us for a fun evening and bring your family with them, they can swim also.

The camp is open to all children ages 3 ­ 8th grade. If you have a child under 3 years old they can attend if an adult accompanies them. You can pre-register your child or get more information by calling the church at 304-337-8650 Monday -Thursday 10 to noon. There is no charge, let our congregation treat your child to a few fun filled days where they make new friends meet up with old friends and learn about the friend they have in Jesus.
