This authorisation disapplies the testing requirement in 6.8.2.4.3 for pressure relief valves (PRVs) fitted to the tanks of tank-vehicles set out in the schedules to this authorisation.

This authorisation has immediate effect and will remain in force until 30 April 2025 unless withdrawn or otherwise revoked.

This revision removes PRVs in Schedule No.1 Rev.5 Motor Vehicles (Tranche 1) and Schedule No.2 Rev.4 Trailers (Tranche 1). It also includes additional PRVs in Schedule No.1 Motor Vehicles (Tranche 3) and Schedule No. 2 Trailers (Tranche 3).

This revision corrects the pressure relief valve serial numbers for Schedule No.1 Rev.1 (Motor Vehicles) Trance 2 entry numbers 67, 72 and 74.

This revision extends the time limit of the authorisation and also includes additional PRVs in Schedule No.1 (Motor Vehicles) Tranche 2 and Schedule No.2 (Trailers) Tranche 2.

This revision corrects the PRV serial numbers for motor vehicle entry numbers 14, 18 and 40 in Schedule No. 1.

This revision corrects the registration number of motor vehicle entry number 25 and the PRV serial number of motor vehicle entry number 30 in Schedule No. 1; adds three new motor vehicle entries (68, 69 and 70) to Schedule No. 1; corrects the identification number of trailer entry number 13 and the PRV serial number of trailer entry number 16 in Schedule No. 2; and removes trailer entry number 15 from Schedule No. 2.

Authorisation 948 revision 1 corrects 2 entries in the schedules and includes a new provision to cover occasions when the scheduled intermediate inspection has been missed. The revision also allows for an inspection body to check the pressure relief valves for satisfactory operation if considered necessary.
