LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Two men were injured Wednesday when a semitrailer rolled over in southern Nebraska, the Furnas County Sheriff's Office says.
Around 11:45 a.m., a semitrailer rolled over on Highway 283 southwest of Beaver City, just north of the Nebraska-Kansas border.
The sheriff's office says the truck was heading north when it left the roadway. The driver then overcorrected, causing the truck to roll onto its side.
Traffic on Highway 283 was shut down for about an hour as crews worked to move the semi.
The driver and passenger were taken to the hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening. Both men have since been released.
